About Me

Alexandra Swann is 22 years old, and has been a member of Conservative Future since she was 16. She read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Exeter, and in 2007 was the Campaigns Officer for Exeter University Conservative Future where she was a co-ordinator of the local election campaign in Duryard ward, helping win the ward for the first time in 20 years.

Alexandra was also the Area Chairman for Surrey Conservative Future 2008-2009 where she ran a number of events with Dan Hannan MEP, and in Guildford helped run a campaign that gain a 10% swing in 2010. She was heavily involved in the 2008 Henley by-election, a campaign which saw John Howell succeed Boris Johnson as MP, and Labour come fifth and lose their deposit.

On leaving Exeter Alexandra moved to London where she studied for an MA in Human Rights Law at Birkbeck College, University of London while also working in Parliament for Anne Milton MP before the 2010 general election.

Alexandra now works in London and is actively involved in Conservative Future across the country. She is currently standing as candidate to be Deputy Chairman (Political) for Conservative Future.
