After London Spin’s Kash Karib has made a comment about “cf activists” having bad taste regarding the sexual being that is RUSSELL BRAND.

Now personally I would marry this sexual beast on the spot and fully understand why the likes of Kate Moss, Courtney Love (she had Kurt Cobain, do not judge me) and co have gone there.

I think perhaps Kash should publish some photos and start a little Kash Brand competition….?

My housemates are rubbish on about 11 levels having not sorted out an internet connection in the 6 weeks they have been in this house. *They are all male, I am not, consequently blame lies with them*

Saturday - Return from Brussels
Sunday - See Father
Monday - Dyed hair, much blonder, a tad shorter. Have since been called Eastern European….
Tuesday - Far too many lectures
Wednesday - Dissertation, varsity rubgy
Thursday - HALLOWEEN PARTY, went as bat girl, fantastic
Friday - A Year…!
Saturday - Two friends’ 21st birthdays and a fair bit of dissertation revision.

Maybe, possibly, one day… I will get the internet in my house and start writing again. I want to interview more people. EUCF elections (same day as America’s but clearly more important )…. busy week. x

Apparently the Leopard man of Skye (everybody’s favourite attraction….) has decided to pack it in and move into a retirement home, citing canoe trouble as his reason.

I wish him luck, perhaps he could become a domestic cat.

Apparently Gordo thinks his plans to increase public borrowing and spending are the only ‘responsible’ thing to do to protect families and businesses from the economic downturn.

Are you actually joking!?!? RESPONSIBLE!?!?! Responsible would be not buggering the economy over the last 10 years. Responsible would perhaps be not allowing our national debt to reach around £640 BILLION!

By the time the Tories take over this country is going to be dying in a massive black hole of Labour creation.

Last day in Brussels

I don’t want to leave and have, in the space of 2 weeks, decided I want to come out here for a year or 2 after the UK general election and work for an MEP. The many virtues of the Brussels/Strasbourg experience have been extolled endlessly on here over the last few weeks and I can’t wait to come back. From what I’ve seen the atmosphere here is calmer, less party political, generally a lot… nicer. Incredible after years in CF.

I’m getting the eurostar back this evening and I think it will take half the day to shut my suitcase but I want to go and buy cheese, sausage, wine etc and attempt not to get massively jealous that Olly’s cooking again tomorrow and I won’t be here!

Brussels has been so wonderful. Photos will go up soon.

Strip Search Security!!!

How absolutely hilarious!!!
There are plans to allow passengers to be effectively strip searched before boarding an aircraft by scanners that can see through clothes and reveal breast implants among other things a few people may like to keep to themselves.

MEPs have called for safeguards to prevent the revealing images from being stored or published - good so far- but one of the reasons cited is because images of celebrities may be sold for high prices!! Jesus, what a sign of the days we live in. Perhaps they’re scared Victoria Beckham et co may sue when their somewhat “enhanced” assets are revealed in truth!

The European Commission, which is proposing to allow airports to use body scanners from 2010, has insisted that passengers would still be able to opt for traditional metal detectors…. who on earth would choose to go for the strip search ones!? It would be like a whole new generation of flashing…

Just imagine the first holiday with a new boy/girlfriend abroad. Do you go for the traditional method and keep your dignity (before the sangria takes it) or would that make you appear a bit shy… Maybe you want to show your adventurous, outgoing side and opt for the strip search but what if your new partner thinks you’re a raging exhibitionist.
It’s a potential minefield…!

£50 says we are about to see a HUGE surge in applicants for airport security…..
